The Wedding part 2

Here are the pictures from the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. I reached the max of pictures from the wedding post.

The Wedding!

Friday October 27 - Michele and Richie's wedding finally arrived. All went well. Bride looked beautiful and the groom looked very handsome. My fears of Jenna not walking down the aisle did not come true. She was a trooper holding my hand both up and down the aisle. She was so good the entire night until she fell asleep around 1030pm. She really enjoyed herself as did everyone else. It was a great time Friday night and we all needed Saturday to recover! Sunday Jenna and I spent the afternoon with Madison, Jennifer and Mark at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. They were celebrating Halloween by having children dress up in their costumes. I dressed Jenna as Cinderella and Madison was Elmo. You can imagine how excited Jenna was to have her best friend as Elmo.

Weekend with Grandma

This weekend Jenna had a sleepover at Grandma Gladys' house. She enjoyed visiting Great Nanny and Cousins Monica and Amanda on Saturday. Jenna also enjoyed her outing to church with Grandma. Of course the highlight of Jenna's weekend, besides spending time with Grandma was playing with Rudy. She loves to play ball and take him out for walks. I bet Rudy was happy to see Jenna go so he could take a nap!

Dogsitting Weekend

Mike, Jenna and I got to dogsit Murphy for the weekend, while Mom and Jason were out of town. What an experience taking care of a puppy and a 2 year old. Both Murphy and Jenna kept me on my toes. Saturday was the last dress fitting for Michele's wedding. Hard to believe it will be here in less than 2 weeks! Sunday Jenna and I came back into Brooklyn to celebrate her friend Faith's 2nd Birthday. We had such a great time seeing all of Jenna's Tutor Time friends. That evening we took a ride over to Uncle Thomas and Aunt Susan's house to visit with Brandon and Ethan. They just turned 2 on October 6. Jenna had a great time playing with them. Since I was off Monday I took Jenna to a cute little park in Patchogue off the water. We had a great time playing at the playground and the weather was perfect.

Happy 2nd Birthday Faith!

We survived!!!!!

So we survived our camping weekend, though if you hear the way Mike tells it, you would think otherwise. We found a very family friendly campground in Greenport, LI. Jennifer, Mark and Madison met us out there and we had such a great time. The girls were so well behaved and really had a blast. We took them pumpkin picking on Saturday at Harbes Farm out near the campgrounds. Saturday night the campground had a DJ and the girls danced the night away. Weather was perfect, save for the downpour Sunday morning. We finished up the weekend with a nice walk around Port Jefferson since the sun finally decided to show itself. We really had a great weekend - Aunt Linda and Uncle Rick should be happy to hear that Jenna is ready to camp again next year.

Wedding Weekend

Fall is finally here and with it came Linda's wedding. Linda and Rick were married Saturday, the first day of fall. I was honored to be chosen as one of Linda's bridesmaids. While Mike and I were partying at the wedding, Jenna got to spend time with Grandma, Jason and Murphy. She had a blast chasing Murphy around the house. I bet he was happy to see her go Saturday night. He probably slept all day Sunday. We returned back to Brooklyn and just hung around the neighborhood Sunday. We needed the rest since it had been a crazy few days preparing for the wedding.

Cruise Weekend

As Michele's been saying - Back to Life, Back to Reality. Elena, Michele and I have returned from our cruise and we had a blast. I missed Mike and Jenna tremendously, but it was great to get away. It was a nice to get off the plane in NY and have them waiting for us at the airport. Unfortunately I had the camera all weekend, so I have no new pictures of Jenna, but lots from the cruise. Enjoy.

Holiday Weekend

We hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend. Our weekend was very relaxing. Glad the weather turned out nice Sunday and Monday. Jenna started her weekend off with a sleepover with Faith. Mike and I babysat for Debby while she attended a wedding Friday night, Faith got to sleep over. Jenna and Faith had a blast and Jenna was even asking for Faith each morning she woke up. Saturday we had an "inside" BBQ since it poured all day. Jenna had fun with both her Grandmas, Abuela, Uncle Darren and some of our other friends. Sunday and Monday were days of rest for us all. Just doing little things around the house and taking Jenna out to the park to enjoy some
beautiful weather. And to make my long weekend longer, I took off Tuesday to spend some time with Jenna since I'll be off on my cruise Thursday!!!! Michele, Elena and I are off to sunny Florida to cruise over to Key West and Cozumel. We will be celebrating Michele's upcoming wedding. Can't wait to go, but I know I'll miss Mike and Jenna very much.

Another rainy weekend

Another rainy weekend. I think the fall weather has started to set in. We started the weekend off with a visit to the park Friday night with Faith and Dylan. It was the only patch of clear weather all weekend. Saturday we attended a birthday party for one of the boys from Tutor Time. It was Jonathan's 2nd Birthday and he had the party at a great place called Little People Parties in Bayridge, Brooklyn. There were activities for the kids and even a special guest - Elmo! Jenna enjoyed the evening with all her Tutor Time Friends. Sunday, Jenna and Mike spent some time with Grandma Gladys, Abuela and Great Nanny while I ventured out in the rain to LI for Linda's bridal hair trial. I can't believe her wedding is in less than a month!! It feels like yesterday her and Rick got engaged!

Jenna, Faith and Dylan playing with the water frogs.

Jenna coming down the big kid slide.

She sure loves these slides.

I love this picture. I kind of caught her off guard.

Here she is at Jonathan's party. Isn't this a cute dress?? Thanks Aunt Shel :)

Jenna looks shy here with Elmo, but she loved him. She kept giving him hugs and shaking his hand. She just kept looking down every time we wanted to take a picture.

Here I am with Jenna, Faith and Debby. We were playing Hot Potato - which Jenna tied with the birthday boy. Guess Jenna gets her competitive streak from her mommy!
