Jenna started Pre-K this month. She had her introduction week September 8 where she went for an hour each day. Her official first day was Monday September 15. She was very excited to go back to school. Her teacher is Mrs. Tormey and she has many of her friends in her class again, the most important being Madison.

September 5, I headed up to Boston for the weekend for work. The Langham Hotel hosted me and my co-workers for the weekend. Thank goodness it wasn't all work and no play. We had a great time and did a lot of sightseeing. I did miss Jenna and Michael, even Mike :) It was great to see them when the picked me up that Sunday night.

Can you believe Labor Day has come and gone? It was a great summer. To cap it off, we headed to Governor's Island last Sunday. The weather was perfect without a cloud in the sky. We took the ferry from Manhattan to Governor's Island. Jenna loved being on the ferry and wanted to ride it all day. This was Michael's first boat ride. We think he liked it. We walked all around the island and had a great picnic. Monday Grandma Gladys and I took the kids to the New York City Museum. Jenna enjoyed the different exhibits, especially the dollhouses. It was a great weekend to end a wonderful summer.
