Cozumel

This year Mike and I decided to forgo Christmas gifts to each other and take an adults only vacation. We decided on Cozumel, Mexico since it was a port we had hit a couple times and loved. Jenna spent the long weekend with Grandma Gladys and Rudy. She had a great time playing with them and her cousin Amanda came over for a sleepover. Mike and I had a great time. Weather was in the 80's every day. It was the perfect vacation for us both to relax before Baby Michael comes along. As much fun as we had, we really missed Jenna. She was so excited to see us when we picked her up. I told Mike that she looked bigger than when we left her.

Happy New Years!

Happy New Years! New Years Eve we spent a great evening at Jen, Mark & Madison's house. The girls had loads of fun opening their gifts and they even made it past midnight. Mark and Mike enjoyed some Champagne, while Jen and I tried some non-alcoholic champagne. Our first day in the New Year was great - Jenna let us all sleep until 11am! Unheard of in our house.
The weekend after, we had Michele, Richie, Luke, Allison, Spencer, Kaitlyn, Darren and & Iliana over for dinner. The girls had a lot of fun playing together and little Lukie is getting so big. It was great to catch up with all.

Christmas!

Christmas was a lot of fun this year since Jenna really got the concept of Santa bringing her gifts. It was fun to see her face and see her reaction when she opened the gifts she asked Santa for.
Christmas Eve was spent at mom's house with Jason, Kristin and of course Murphy. Jenna was spoiled with all the presents they gave. She had tons of fun opening all her gifts. Christmas Day, Jenna was up early and so excited by all her gifts. She couldn't get through them all fast enough and we couldn't open the boxes fast enough for her to play with all her new toys. We spent the rest of the day at Gladys' house. It was a full house with Gladys, Darren, Iliana, Uncle Carlos, Cruz, Abuela, George, Marta and of course Rudy too! Jenna was spoiled again for the second day! She opened many presents and had a great time with everyone.

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and have a wonderful New Year!

Spending the day at Jen's Work

Friday December 21, my office held a Christmas Party for all the kids. Jenna spent the entire day with me at work and was such a good girl. Afterwards we walked around the city checking out the tree and skaters, St. Patricks Cathedral and the Disney Store for a suprise. Jenna was such a trooper walking around the city. She thought it was worth it when we got to the Disney Store for her suprise. The Disney Store in the city had Santa Goofy and Reindeer Pluto available for meet and greet and pictures. She was so excited to see them both and she gave lots of hugs and kisses.
We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

A December weekend

December is just flying by! Hard to believe a week from today is Christmas Day. This past weekend, like all our other weekends flew right by. Friday night Mike and I attended the KBW Christmas party. We had a great time while Jenna spent the day and evening with Grandma Teresa. Saturday we attended Zachary's birthday party. Jenna had a great time seeing all her old Tutor Time friends.
Lastly our big news is that we found out what we are having. The doctor confirmed we are having a baby boy! Jenna is thrilled that she is going to have a little brother.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Happy Thanksgiving! We hope everyone had a great weekend eating, drinking and just hanging out with familyn and friends. Darren and Iliana hosted Thanksgiving and we had a great time catching up with everyone. Abuela made her way to New York from Puerto Rico and we are very excited that we were able to spend the holiday with her. Friday Jenna and I made our shopping trek with Mom to NJ and Staten Island. Jenna was a very good sport since we started at 8am and didn't come home until 6pm. Jason and Kristin headed out to Brooklyn on Saturday so we could celebrate Thanksgiving. Even Murphy took the trip. Sunday we headed out to Allison and Spencer's new home to celebrate Katie's 2nd Birthday. It's hard to believe she's 2!
Enjoy the pictures below.

Busy Weekend

We have headed back into our crazy, busy weekends with the holidays approaching. Friday night, we met up with my cousins Frankie and Trish in the city for some dinner and catching up. They were up visiting from Texas and we haven't seen them in over 2 years. We had a great time and it was really great to see them both. Sunday, we headed down to Atlantic City for some rest and play. We had a great time even though the weather was dreary. It's too bad that we didn't win, but we had a lot of fun. Grandma Gladys came along and this was special since it was Jenna's first time down. We took her shopping and swimming. She loves staying at hotels - wonder where she gets that from???

NYC Marathon

I can't believe it is November!!!! Jenna and I braved the hurricane warning (it turned out to be a lot of rain and the wind) Jenna hung out with Grandma, Uncle Jason, Kristin and of course Murphy. We took Jenna to the mall and Santa was already there!!! They are really pushing Christmas on us this year. They had a Santa train that Jenna loved. She would have rode that all day if she could have.
Sunday the NYC Marathon came running through NY this weekend. The weather was perfect for running and for those of us watching from the sidelines. It is always exciting to see them run by. We watched them run by with Jen, Mark and Madison. The girls had a great time cheering the runners.

Halloween 2007

Happy Halloween! Jenna had a very full day between school and trick-or-treating. She started out as a cheerleader for school. Her teacher threw them a party and all the kids got many treats. We headed home so Jenna could change into her Tinkerbelle costume for trick-or-treating. She had a blast this year since she has finally grasped the concept of going to people's houses and if you say trick-or-treat, they give your candy. The weather was great and we really had a lot of fun. Madison and Jennifer came along for the ride and the girls looked so cute together. Enjoy the pictures.
