December has been a hectic month getting ready for the holidays. A lot has happened with Michael. Last week's doctor appointment has Michael weighing in at 18lbs 10oz and he is 28 1/2 inches long. He has been actively crawling around to his delight, getting into everything. Then today he pulled himself up in his crib all by himself. Jenna and I walked into the room to find him standing up, laughing at us. It is so hard to believe that he is 8 months today!

Thanksgiving 2008
Celebrating Michael's first Thanksgiving, we headed over to Grandma Gladys' house for some food and family time. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone and of course there was too much food as always. Everyone had a nice time and enjoyed seeing how big Michael has gotten.
Friday morning I took the kids out to LI for shopping! We met up with Grandma Teresa to take Christmas pictures first, then to shop, shop, shop! For all you thinking I was crazy, the shops weren't too crowded. Mike came out Saturday morning to join us for more shopping. I think he would have rather stayed in Brooklyn..... After shopping we went and visited Grandma and Grandpa. I think Michael thoroughly entertained him. He is sitting up so good now and even starting to crawl - boy are we in trouble now! Sunday was definitely a day of rest and Monday it was back to work and school. We hope everyone had a great Holiday Weekend!

Disney Trip
November 9 we headed down to Disney for a week of fun. Uncle Frank, Aunt Janet, Krista, Josh, Jazlyn and Austin came up and met us. We had such a great time with them. The kids enjoyed each other and it was really great seeing them. It had been a while...
We packed so much in, hitting all 4 parks. Jenna was so excited to be with Jazlyn, that when it was time for them to leave, she cried. She didn't want them to leave. We took her on some big rides - Thunder Mountain, which she loved, Roaring Rapids, which she loved and got soaked and the Tower of Terror, which she hated. It was more the ghosts before the ride that scared her then the actual ride. Michael was a trooper and we took him on most of the rides too. He loved them, falling asleep on most.
And we were a little nervouse on the flights because we didn't know how Michael was going to be, but he was an angel both ways. And of course Miss Jenna is the seasoned traveler and was perfect both ways.
The weather was great and we couldn't have asked for a better week.
Miss you guys!!!!

Colin's Christening
Last weekend we celebrated Colin's Christening. He looked adorable in his outfit made by his Grandma. I can say he did not like the water being poured on his head. After the celebration, we headed over to Sofias for dinner. We had a very nice evening with family and friends.

NYC Marathon
Sunday was the NYC Marathon. It is a huge deal for Bayridge, Brooklyn since we are the first area that the race runs through. It was a very exciting year because Mark was running this year. He has been training for this for months. We watched the runners with Jennifer, Madison and Colin. Also one of my co-workers, Brian was running and we got to see him too.

Halloween
Jenna was very excited about Halloween this year. We were going trick-or-treating then heading down to Owls Head Park for the Halloween Festival. We were also excited since this was Michael's first Halloween. He had a lot of fun watching the girls get their candy and you know he will be running with them next year. Jenna was a witch for school and Cinderella for trick-or-treating while Michael was her pumpkin.
