Summers over :(

Can't believe that summer is over! It feels like it was just the beginning of summer. We decided to celebrate Labor Day Weekend with a trip down to DC. We headed down Saturday morning with Jennifer, Mark and Madison for a long weekend of fun. We hit the monuments Saturday afternoon. It was a perfect day - not a cloud in the sky. Sunday we met up with Mike's friend Jay and his family at the DC Zoo. The kids had a great time playing around and checking out the animals. We ended the day with a dip in the pool. Monday was another day without a cloud in the sky. We hung around Old Town Alexandria before heading back to NY. Great way to end the summer.

Sesame Place

Last weekend we headed out for some fun out at Sesame Place. Jenna was thrilled to see Elmo and to stay in a hotel for the weekend with Madison. It was like was long sleepover party for her. The rides were great, though she could have done without the Roller Coaster. We went on just about everything in the park. Weather was great all weekend. Thank goodness for the water rides to cool us off since it was well in the 90's on Saturday all day. It really was a fun weekend and I know both Jenna and Madison had a blast. Enjoy the pictures.

Museum of Natural History

Anticipating some rainy weather this weekend, we headed over to the Museum of Natural History. Madison and Jenna had a great time seeing the animals, dinosaurs and of course the big blue whale. It was fun to see them interacting and checking out the exhibits.
Sunday the rain finally came but we spent a great afternoon with Grandma Gladys.

Great Summer Weekend

What a great summer weekend. Weather was perfect! Much better than all the rain that we had been getting. July 17 was Madison's 3rd birthday and her birthday party was Saturday at the Prospect Park Zoo. Jenna has such a great time with her Tutor Time friends and also had a blast with all the animals. Sunday we decided to enjoy the good weather outside at Coney Island. Jenna and Madison had a grand time riding the rides. They both loved being on all the rides as you will see in the pictures below.
