Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday we spent the afternoon with Jason and Kristin to celebrate Easter. We took Jenna to the park in Brooklyn for the Marty Golden Annual Egg Hunt. Jenna had a great time running and looking for eggs. Too bad we didn't win anything, but Jenna had a lot of fun.

Good Friday

Good Friday Mom came out to Brooklyn to celebrate Easter. We took Jenna to the Brooklyn Children's Museum for the day. She had loads of fun playing in the play area, seeing the animals and touching all the displays. It really is a child friendly museum which is a good thing since Jenna had her hands all over everything.

No more diapers!!!!!

So as it states above, no more diapers!!!! Jenna is finally potty trained! She has been doing great with her big girl underwear. She likes to show it off and tell you she is a big girl now. We are so excited and so very proud of her.

Sunday was the Bayridge St Patrick's Day Parade. Grandma Gladys came down to Brooklyn to watch with us. Even Madison, Jennifer and Mark with Aunt Mandy came out to watch. The weather was great - spring is finally here.

Baby Luke is finally here!

Luke Richard Sere is here! Over 2 weeks early, he arrived on March 14, 2007 at 511pm. He weighed in at 6lbs and 2oz and was 19 inches long. Both mom and baby are good and so is daddy! Now Jenna can finally stop saying Baby Luke is coming this month.

All else is good. Jenna was accepted into St Anslems Catholic School for fall. We are very excited since it is our parish and plus her best friend Madison will be there with her. And if you are thinking about a uniform, it isn't until 1st grade she would have to wear one. For those who see the bandage on her head, she had an accident a couple of weeks ago. She tripped and fell into a bookcase at daycare and cut open her forehead. She required 7 stitches by a plastic surgeon. All is healing well and we should hardly see it once it is completely healed. I think it was worse on Mike and I than Jenna. She was a trooper - hardly crying during the stitches and not at all when they took them out.

Saturday was Michele's baby shower. Her and Rich got such cute things for the baby. Can't wait until Luke Richard makes his appearance next month. Sunday Jenna had Oscar's Birthday Party. She had a great time with all her Tutor Time friends.

SuperBowl 2007

It's been a while since our last post. Nothing new going on here. Just in the middle of a deep freeze here in NY. We had friends over for the SuperBowl. Go Colts :) - sorry Jen about the Chicago loss....

Saturday January 13 was Grandma Mary's birthday. We celebrated on Sunday with dinner and cake. Jenna had a great time with all and even showed some photography promise. She took a few pictures herself with my camera. Enjoy!

Is it Spring?

Saturday the weather was amazing. I believe it actually hit 70 degrees! Hard to believe that it is January. But don't worry winter is back. It is freezing today! Saturday we took Jenna to the park to enjoy this great weather. She has such a great time. She was very happy to shed her heavy winter coat and just play.

Happy New Years!

Happy New Years! Here is to a great 2007! We spent New Years Eve with Madison, Jennifer and Mark. The girls had a blast playing and us adults had a great time eating and drinking. Jenna made a good try at staying up until midnight. I believe she fell out somewhere between 11/1130pm, while Madison was a trooper and stayed up until the ball dropped. These girls were all over the place, so these are the best 2 pictures I could get.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day finally arrived and Jenna was so excited that Santa left gifts under the tree for her. She had so much fun opening up her gifts. We had Christmas Day at our house this year. Everyone came over - Gladys, Darren and Iliana, Iliana's family and Mom and Jason. Even Murphy took the ride out to Brooklyn. We all had a great time spending the day together. We hope everyone had a great Christmas holiday!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was loads of fun. We celebrated at my mom's house with my Aunt Susan, Uncle Thomas, Tommy and Jimmy and those big boys - Ethan and Brandon. We had a great time and the kids had a blast playing with each other.
